BLOC was a research project partially funded by the French National Research Agency. It has been proposed to INS 2011 call for propositions.
It aims at studying the design and analysis of block ciphers dedicated to constrained environments. The four main tasks of the project are:
- Security models and proofs
- Cryptanalysis
- Design and security arguments
- Performance analyzes and implementations of lightweight block ciphers and of our proposals
The project started October 1st 2011 and ended March 31th 2016.
